How we make money
In short
- CityCardCheck is run by two sole proprietorships, DK-Online Marketing (Daniel Kocks) and Fabian Habich Consulting (Fabian Habich). Details in the legal notice (German).
- We earn money through commissions: if you buy a card via one of our affiliate links, we may receive a share. Your price does not change.
- We only link to providers we work with on a commission basis (currently Tiqets via Travelpayouts). This is not a complete overview of all providers.
How the calculator works
The calculation does not depend on the commission. We use the single prices of the attractions and the price of the card. Admission prices are checked at the official source, card prices with the ticket provider you book through, each with a date. If the card does not pay off for your selection, the calculator shows that just as clearly as a saving.
If an attraction has no verified price, it does not appear in the calculator. We do not estimate prices.
Which providers we include
We work with the affiliate network Travelpayouts. Links to a card lead to the ticket provider Tiqets; if you buy there, we usually receive a commission. This is not a complete overview of all providers of a card.
How to recognise affiliate links
Every link to a provider is labelled as an affiliate link right next to it. All of these links go through our own redirect so we can count how often they are used. We do not store IP addresses or any other data that could identify a person. More in the privacy policy (German).
We are not the issuer
CityCardCheck is a savings calculator and not the official website of any city card. We only use card names to describe what we are talking about.
